Janet began her riding career in 1966 with Vicki Hart and hasn’t stopped since. As a child, she rode Western, Hunters, ran barrels and showed a built up Tennessee Walker. As an adult, Janet took up Dressage, more Hunters; and who can resist the thrill of Eventing or the beauty of an AQHA halter horse. She has studied with many of the top riders and trainers in the country in multiple disciplines and enjoys sharing that knowledge with others.
Suddenly Blessed, affectionately known as Suds, this stunning Off The Track Thoroughbred (OTTB) is a favorite among our intermediate and advanced riders. Suds brings energy and elegance to every ride—he loves to jump, pick up speed, and never says no to a treat (especially watermelon)!
An Arabian Sporthorse and son of Thee Desperado, Journey is a striking mover and an exceptional jumper, making him a favorite among our intermediate and advanced riders. But don’t let his impressive talent fool you—Journey has a gentle side and loves helping beginners find their seat and build confidence at the trot. He has never met a carrot or peppermint that he didn't like!
Gentle, kind, and full of heart, Paisley Grace is loved by our intermediate and advance students. She’s has a knack for dressage and English pleasure. She loves apples and peppermints!
Primera made her way to us all the way from Europe, where she competed at high levels and brought home numerous titles and championships. Now enjoying her well-earned senior years, while she is mostly retired, she still enjoys helping beginners take their first steps in the saddle. She will happily accept any treat that comes her way.
With experience in Special Olympics and 4-H programs, Selma brings patience, kindness, and a steady presence to every ride. She’s a favorite among our beginner students, whether they’re learning English or Western. She’s known for having the smoothest canter in the barn.
Bonus: she absolutely loves bath time and carrots!
A perennial favorite, Brigand is happily enjoying his golden years surrounded by love, scratches, and plenty of snacks—courtesy of both students and parents alike 😉. Though he’s mostly retired, his presence is still a big part of the TEC family.
The life of the party and the perfect pony pals for our littlest riders, the three minis at TEC are a favorite at birthday bashes and beginner lessons alike.
Mini B is sweet and gentle. Chip is always on the lookout for carrots, scratches—and their best buddy, Willow loves apples and being groomed! Most young riders will take their first ride on either Chip or Mini B.
Red is one of our beginner-friendly geldings, almost everyone starts their riding journey with him.
Boone is the Choctaw War Horse for our local football games, proudly carrying the spirit of the team onto the field. GO BIG GREEN!
He is currently being leased and loved by his favorite student!
Karmah came to TEC as a colt. He is from Rohara Arabians with outstanding bloodlines. He is used for our intermediate and advance students for low level jumping.

Captain is of impressive bloodlines. His grandfather, Coco, stood at the Equestrian Center. He can be ridden English or Western by our intermediate and advance students.

Monty is an Off The Track Thoroughbred (OTTB). He's being retrained to help our intermediate and advance students. He is the pickiest horse in our barn when it comes to treats, so don't take it personally!

Storm, a talented Quarter Horse mare, came to TEC as a five-year-old and quickly found her stride in the dressage arena under Ms. Janet’s guidance.
