To inquire about lessons call us at 850-863-3295! The Equestrian Center has an incredibly well rounded lesson program. From Hunter/Jumpers to Western Trail & Ranch Riding to Dressage, The Equestrian Center will help you reach your personal goals. We teach all of our students from the ground up and emphasize safety above all else when working around horses.

Expect all lessons to run approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, from the time you show up to the time you leave. Proper riding attire is mandatory.

This consists of:

Long pants or jeans(thick enough as to not be pinched by the leather stirrup straps)
Fitted shirt or T-Shirt
Boots or closed toed shoes with at least a half inch heel.
**Helmets are provided by the Equestrian Center if you do not have your own. BICYCLE HELMETS ARE NOT APPROVED FOR RIDING.

Policies

All lessons and pony rides at the Equestrian Center must be confirmed directly with the instructor prior to attendance. Payment is required in full before the first scheduled lesson for horseback riding in Fort Walton Beach. Unconfirmed and/or unpaid lessons may result in the loss of your reserved time slot.

Lessons and pony rides must be canceled within 24 hours; otherwise, the lesson will be charged and forfeited.

In the event of severe weather, the trainer will contact students or parents directly to notify them of any lesson cancellations. We apologize for the inconvenience, but safety is our top priority—for our horses, students, and instructors. We’ll do our best to reschedule lessons as soon as conditions allow, ensuring that your Fort Walton Beach horseback riding experience remains enjoyable.
